Sis’ Mantoa is the founder and director of AbafaziPhambili Non-Profit Organisation. Her advocacy is rooted in advancing socio-economic transformation for abandoned, neglected, marginalised, and underprivileged women. She embodies the spirit of compassion, resilience, and steadfastness in the pursuit of social justice. Through honest conversations and intimate reflections, Sis’ Mantoa invites us into the magazine, sharing insights into challenges, triumphs, and lessons learned along the way.

Sis’Mantoa Biography
Sis’ Mantoa is a business strategist and analyst with a postgraduate qualification in Commerce, specialising in economics, finance, and strategy. She has extensive experience in business development, public relations, marketing, and sales strategy, helping organisations strengthen their market position and achieve sustainable growth.
She is the founder and Managing Director of Mantoa Consulting, founder of Conversations with Sis’ Mantoa, a social justice magazine that amplifies conversations on leadership, inequality, and socio-economic transformation, and founder and Director of Abafaziphambili, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the socio-economic empowerment of marginalised women through advocacy, skills development, and economic inclusion.
An accomplished author, Sis’ Mantoa wrote Invincible Pain, a book that explores resilience, healing, and overcoming adversity. Her work bridges business leadership with social impact, making her a sought-after voice on entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, gender equality, leadership, and inclusive development.
In recognition of her contribution to society and women’s empowerment, she was honoured as one of South Africa’s Powerful Women in 2022. Her work and thought leadership have been featured in leading national and community media, including Mail & Guardian, Financial Mail, Business Day, Sunday Times, ENCA, BBC, SABC News, Voice of America, The Citizen, Human Rights Magazine, Inclusive Enterprise Magazine , Kempton Express, The Tembisan, and other respected publications.
