Conversations With Sis Mantoa Healing Empowerment Breakfast

On the 15th of June 2024, AbafaziPhambili hosted a successful empowerment event at Serengeti Estate in Kempton Park. The venue was filled to full capacity. We are delighted to share the first part of the inspiring ‘Healing Breakfast’ session delivered by Sis’ Mantoa, our Mother.

Greetings my beloved Family. As the Mother of the Nation, my duty is to protect, comfort, spread love and kindness. I welcome you all in the name of love and peace. Thank you for being here. I appreciate your time and trust invested in Mama Mantoa and AbafaziPhambili. Your time is precious to us, for it is not your time, but a divine gift. We appreciate the love and support shown.

I would like to encourage all of you to appreciate each breath you breathe because after last night’s storm, the sunrise whispers hope. Each morning, the sun unveils a new beginning, but tomorrow is uncertain. Appreciate today, for not everyone witnessed the dawn after their final night.

As I stand before you this morning, I’m thinking of you, who are deeply in pain, facing hardships, life disappointments, betrayal from loved ones, and those who are heartbroken from the loss of loved ones, marriages and relationships. We might feel that all is lost and hope has faded. It might feel like the world is against us. Feeling we have reached the dead end of our path and we’ve got no other ways to revive ourselves. In fact, the dead end of the road is the beginning of something new. New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings. Pain will refine you.

We struggle in the darkness with our pains and trials. We sit too long in the darkness. But I want to encourage you that, don’t suppress the pain. Let it bleed. Be frangible. It will subside and heal. There’s no such thing as a strong person. Remember, it is through the darkness where we find the diamonds, gold, platinum. Seeds grow in the darkness and nauseating environment. It must first die in order to sprout into a green plant. Therefore, allow yourselves to die first in order to regrow and rebrand yourselves. The eagle sheds its wings to regrow the new ones in order to fly higher.

We have four seasons- Autumn, Winter, Summer, and Spring. They bring different temperatures and weather patterns. While we prepare for these seasonal changes, we often neglect to prepare life setbacks and our emotional strength. Just as we move from one season to the next, we must learn to move forward from our emotions and experiences.   Pain is a natural part of our lives. We need to allow ourselves to feel it, cry, mourn, and grieve…for it will eventually subside naturally. We also need to make room for joy, peace, and happiness in our lives. May we also apply similar preparations for our emotional strength and resilience and prepare ourselves for life unexpected events. This is life, and it offers no guarantees or predictions. Let’s all be always prepared. Healing has no patterns.
